Our Holy Father Pope Francis died on Monday, April 21, at the age of 88. Our Church is now in the papal interregnum , the period between the death of a pope and the election of his successor, when the Chair of Peter is vacant. The Vatican has announced that the Conclave to elect the next Pope will begin on May 7. On Saturday, April 26, at 10:00 AM, the funeral Mass of Christian burial was held.
